National Awareness Alliance Mission Statement

The mission of the National Awareness Alliance is to raise the
awareness on social, economical, educational and political
issues within marginalized communities and mobilize the people towards action regarding civil, human and constitutional
rights of the people demoralized through social and economicdisparities.

National Awareness Alliance Vision Statement

The vision of the National Awareness Alliance (NAA) is to ensure equity, equality and justice for all individuals regardless of their race, color, or creed.

Objectives

10gEducate citizens on their rights and responsibilities as a code of conduct in the community so that the citizen can be empowered if so their rights are compromised.

Bridge the gap between community and law enforcement.

Create a climate for quality education by certifying that a diverse student population is reflected by a competent and diverse teacher staff along with administration to bridge all gaps of inconsistencies that creates disparities in education. Also build community relations with teacher and administration with parents and students.

Hold businesses, local and national accountable for fair and equal hiring practices.

Encourage political participation from shaping and advance public policy to electoral engagement from voting to running for public office at local, state, and federal levels. This will promote more minorities to engage into the political apparatus so that citizens will be politically knowledgeable.

WHO WE ARE

 

NAAThe National Awareness Alliance is a civil rights group founded by activist Walter L. Hudson, Sr. The organization was created to raise awareness about the social, economic, educational and political issues within marginalized communities and to mobilize people towards action. Over the past few years, National Awareness Alliance has been at the forefront of fighting racial profiling, and police brutality and has been instrumental in helping to curtail violence throughout the nation.
NAA was involved in protesting the shooting death of Trayvon Martin and held around-the-clock protests over the deaths of Eric Garner, Mike Brown, MoShowon Leach.
Our organization is committed to equity, equality and justice for all individuals regardless of their race, color,or creed.
